Fixes and Improvements in Patch 1.0.1. This patch is currently considered experimental, as it hasn’t been tested on all real hardware consoles yet – only on an emulator.
- Worked around audio encoding issues (potentially fixes some audio problems and also reduces the game image size by 11 MB)
- Nerfed the difficulty of the ‘Patriot Playground’ mission
- Made offroad missions generally easier
- ‘A Ride in the Park’ now no longer auto-completes immediately after picking up the first checkpoint
- Timer counters in ‘The Getaway’, ‘Drive Misty for Me’, and ‘After Hours’ will now stop blinking upon reaching certain mission locations
- Fixed a visual bug where the ‘Paramedic’ mission was marked as not completed in the safehouse stats
- Fixed a bug where the ‘Come back between…’ line would not appear after failing Marty’s first mission and attempting to restart it
- Nerfed the difficulty of the ‘Pump-Action Pimp’ mission
- Removed the police officer dialogue line in ‘The Fuzz Ball’
- Now killing Joey, Luigi or Toni in ‘Salvatore’s Called a Meeting’ will fail the mission properly
- Made the taxi driver in ‘Cutting the Grass’ ignore traffic lights (prevents players from thinking he’s stuck – not sure why I’m changing this, but I got about 3 reports about it)
- Altered the boat route in ‘Paparazzi Purge’ to prevent the boat from hitting the ferry
- Removed the wanted level trigger in ‘Bling-Bling Scramble’
- Increased the density of Colombian Cruisers during the ‘Liberator’ and ‘Waka-Gashira Wipeout!’ missions
- Now you can’t destroy the bodycast in ‘Plaster Blaster’ using Molotovs
- Fixed an issue in the Import/Export car order menu where ordering a Linerunner, Flatbed, or Maverick would give the wrong vehicle
- Fixed multiple typos in the Russian version
